During our time in Thailand and Singapore, we stayed between hotels, and airbnbs. This entire trip was a DREAM, and I cannot wait to share more with you. A few of you guys wanted to know where I stayed and how I got around. Today, I’ll start with Lodging in Bangkok! Our hotel was on Wireless Road which is very close to a bunch of Embassies with the train station within walking distance.
We spent three nights at The Oriental Residence in Bangkok, and this hotel was a dream! PURE luxury! Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at, and I’ve stayed at some more than decent hotels. From the architecture, to the amenities, the decor, and picturesque views, I enjoyed everything about this hotel. The staff were super kind and taught me how to say hello and thank you, and I greeted everyone in Thai during my time there.

We stayed on the 17th floor, and the views were amazing! Our bathroom had a large tub, shower and a bidet. Our room also had a little kitchen, with a stove top, microwave and fridge.  I mention this, because food is important to me. LOL

I got a workout in the first morning, followed by breakfast at Cafe Claire. My friend and I kept saying we missed Cafe Claire, while we were in Singapore.  The breakfast was that good! If I ever go back to Bangkok, and I will. You bet I’m going to be staying at the Oreintal Residence Bangkok. I think their room rates are going for 114 USD right now, and for a luxury hotel, you seriously cannot beat that. AT all.  Stay tuned for my posts on things I did during my stay in Bangkok.
