LA Travel Diary Day One

 

Happy New Year friends. The thought that 2016 is here has not completely sunk in yet, but I am so ready for a fresh start. This week and next, I’ll be sharing some pictures from my blogger trip to California with Rachelle, Charnele and Daphnee. Let me tell you, 10 days (I was in LA for 5 days) off of work was sooo necessary.  My first day in LA, the girls picked me up from the airport, and we had lunch at The Honor Bar in LA. The food was lit, and the drinks too (albeit, a bit strong) but still so good. I’m a foodie through and through so I enjoy a good meal as much as the next person. If you’re ever in LA, I would recommend The Honor Bar. It’s a small somewhat intimate setting and it does not disappoint. Trust me, it’s like an explosion of yumminess in your mouth.  After Dinner, we walked down Rodeo Drive which was just beautifully decorated for the holidays. I mean, the last time I was in LA was 10 years ago, so it was great to take it all in again. 

For my outfit, I went for a relaxed, casual look. Although, these boots weren’t ideal for walking through the airport/security. It was the most bulky, so to save space I had to wear them. Rachelle (who I’m also linking up with today!)  was a doll for snapping pictures of me on this trip.  I’m also linking with Lauren, Caryl, and Laura today!
