I don’t think I’ve ever intentionally written a year end blog post before but I feel compelled to. 2015 has been a year of BLUR for me. I started the year with high expectations and goals like I always do each year. I was intentional about blogging and pretty much everything else as it pertained to my personal life. You see, I had quit my job the later end of 2014, so I rolled into 2015 not having a solid plan for a job because I really wanted to hold off for what I really wanted. Sure it was a bit scary, but sometimes life is better daring, especially if you’re not in a particularly happy place, you know? Read about it here.

After I lost my Dad this past Summer (I don’t think I’ve talked about it much here on the blog much or at all, and maybe one day I will), I can honestly say that I’ve been going through the motions, you know? I cared about everything and nothing at the same time. In the midst of such a loss, 2015 also had it’s share of Highs, in which I’m beyond grateful for.
If you’ve read my blog for a while, you may have noticed the consistency of my blog post experience a decline. While I enjoy blogging, I prefer not to pressure myself into blogging. I think it’s healthy to take breaks and I never want to feel like my blog has me, rather than I have a blog, you know? Next year though, I do however plan and hope to be more consistent with my blog. I also plan to share more videos with you guys, more lifestyle content and more personable posts so you can get to know me better as a person.
I want to thank each and everyone one of you who has ever visited my blog, youtube, instagram, or signed up for my mailing list. I hope 2015 has been great for you, and cheers to the best life has to offer in 2016. I hope you’ll stick around these parts for upcoming posts and giveaways. I’ll also be doing a recap of my trip to LA so check back next week.
Here’s to wishing you a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!! #cueconfetti

Sorry for your loss, Jewel. May the Holy Spirit comfort you and give you strength.
It’s been great following you so far. May your 2016 be much better than your 2015.
Happy new year to you!

Your year sounds like it has mirrored mine a bit girl with personal loss, trying not to keep the blog from having you as opposed to vise versa so I totally feel you girl! You did a brave thing with leaving your job, I so wish I could take that leap of faith. Can’t wait to see what 2016 brings!
