This Past Weekend I attended the MN Red Dress Collection Fashion Show sponsored by University of Minnesota Heart Care. It was really great to learn more about heart disease and how it affects women and men as well. Besides supporting a great cause, it was great to see great fashion modeled by Minnesota locals and designed by local fashion designers. The last photo was my favorite. The neck line, the cape and the slit was so fabulous. Another favorite was first dress designed by Christopher Straub which had a princess like look to it.
Did you know that Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, and is more deadly than all forms of cancer combined? (source) If anything this event was a great reminder to exercise, eat healthier and take care of myself which can help reduce the risk of this disease.
