I have a pretty colorful wardrobe; and in as much as I love color, I much prefer a neutral color palette for my room. I started out with white comforter and let’s say keeping white comforter as white as possible was a tad bit difficult, so I settled on this Grey Comforter. I love the textured feel to it. I’m sorta borderline obsessed with throw pillows and literally have to talk myself out of purchasing new pillows every time I walk into a TJMaxx or HomeGoods store. I purchased this Gold Foil Pillow as an accent from Nordstrom (they have a bunch of other options here), however when I saw the GREY Ruffle Pillow at TJMaxx, I needed to have it simply because it blends in perfectly. Don’t you think?
I’m very non traditional in my decorating, meaning I don’t feel the need to have two night stands and the glass table I am using as a night stand is actually a small glass coffee table, which was a consignment store purchase for under 40 dollars. My mother gifted me this beautiful floral plate that I use to store my Earrings and rings in before heading to bed. This table also has racks underneath which I use to store magazines.
As you can see, my bedroom is pretty neutral. I opted for pops of color via decorative accents such as my lamp (from HomeGoods) and other wall furnishings.
