Growing up, I never cared much for “African Outfits”, and as I’ve grown older I gravitate towards it more. I love being able to choose a fabric and custom make an outfit that caters to what I am in the mood to wear. I picked up this fabric in Liberia and knew I wanted a maxi skirt, because A, it’s flattering and B, I’ll
wear it for years to come. Although, when it comes to Ankara prints, I prefer separates to be able to inject a little more of my personal style into my outfit. You may remember this skirt from this POST. There was left over fabric, so my seamstress thought a full skirt, would make for a nice piece and I couldn’t agree more.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

xx,
Jewel
