I had so much fun shooting in this dress and playing on the stairs at the Basilica. Let me just be real. I’d take the elevator over the stairs any day. Not because I’m lazy, but because I’d much rather get to my destination sooner. Instant gratification at it’s best or worst.

My blog will be two in July and I’ve been reflecting on my first couple of years blogging. Looking back to how little I knew about blogging than I do now kind of makes me laugh. I constantly checked my stats and comments and became consumed with “the numbers” to say the least, because I wanted to know people were reading my blog. It took me a while to realize that blogging, like anything else you desire takes time; much like relationships, marriages, children, careers and what not, because honestly, anything substantial takes time. It just DOES. The time, energy and effort makes you appreciate it all the more.
Here’s to delayed gratification, and realizing that timing is everything.
