In honor of my 28th birthday last week, here are 28 random facts about me..
1. I’m the oldest of three siblings.
2. There’s a 8 year difference between my brother and I and 16 years between my sister and I.
3. I was born and raised in Liberia.
4. I moved to the U.S at age 14.
5. English is my first language.
6. I have an irrational fear of cats and dogs.
7. I was bitten by a dog at age 11 or so.
8. I have a weird addiction/obsession and compulsion with ice. I blame my anemia. (:
9. My mom has more nicknames for me than I can remember.
10. My newest nickname is Babs, as in Babs Bunny.
11. I made much better grades in graduate school than I did in High School and Undergraduate.
12. I received a BA in counseling psychology, certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling and a recent Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy.
13. When I was younger, I aspired to be a Lawyer, like my father.
14. Growing up, I was a total Daddy’s girl.
15. I am much more closer to my mother as an adult.
16. I one day aspire to open a private practice.
17. One of my dream jobs is to work as a family therapist at an addictions facility.
18. I love hip hop, R&B, some country, rock alternative music but christian music is my absolute favorite.
19. I love traveling, however, I have some anxiety around flying.
20. My top places I’d love to visit are Paris, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Morocco, London. (OK, I’ll stop here)
21. My favorite color is Blue. (bet you already knew that)
22. I don’t have a BEST BEST Friend. I’m lucky to have a couple.
23. I went skinny dipping in the Dominican Republic last year. Fan-freaking-tastic.
24. I love all things girly, and feminine. glitter, sparkles, jewelry, nail polish, high heels, bright lipsticks, playing dress up, getting my hair done. etc.

27. I lived alone for the first time at age. It was a weird transition; I love my alone time now, sometimes a little too much.
28. I never played sports in High School. Does Kickball count? My favorite sport to watch is Basketball and my Favorite Player is Kevin Garnett. ( I cheated with this one, but think of it as a bonus (;
