Hey guys! Today, I want to introduce you to Kelley over at Keep Sitting Pretty. I began following Kelley about a year ago after she had left a comment on my blog that I found to be genuine and really sweet. I’m so glad I checked out her blog, because it’s become one of my favorites. I think what draws me to her blog is her amazing blogging tips, creative DIY’s and her positivity. Enough of my blabbing, Here’s what Kelley had to say!
How would you describe yourself?
I would have to describe myself as an extremely ambitious, fun, creative, and girly ball of positive energy! I pretty much love anything that is magical and whimsical in nature!
I love what you’re doing with the be your dream campaign? What sparked your idea for this campaign?
Kelley: Thank you so much! The idea really came about when the new year was about to hit and I made the life decision that instead of chasing my dream, I’d become what I dreamed of. When I say things like that out loud people look at me like I’m speaking a different language so I figured an Instagram challenge would be a good way to get people used to the idea. It was a way for everyone to make a virtual vision board to keep their dreams in front of them daily. I was really surprised and honored by the response and that so many people felt inspired by it.
How do you live your dream everyday?
Kelley: Each day I live my dream by being active instead of just sitting back and being in awe of the amazing things others are doing. I don’t want to be someone that lives vicariously through others, so I put forth the effort to make my life what I want it to be.
What would you like people to take away from your blog?
Kelley: Well my blog’s title is Keep Sitting Pretty and my blogs motto is Be Your Dream. So I what I want people to take away is that style and positive energy go hand in hand. Many people say you need a niche to be a successful blogger. For me style and positive energy is my niche! Everyday I want to look fabulous and everyday I want to live my best life. You can’t tell me those things don’t go hand in hand! When you look good, you feel good and when you feel good you put forth the effort to look good.
I love how creative you are.. My favorite DIY of yours is the nail polish rack. What is the most fun DIY you’ve done?
Kelley: I think that one may be my favorite too! I’ve also fallen in love with DIYing bows! Once I reopen my shop, you can expect a major appearance of bows!
