How to: Style a Vanity Table

I’ve always wanted a Vanity Table, a pretty vanity to be precise. So, when I found this vanity set at the Salvation Army,I knew there was no way I’d leave without it. After a few months of deciding how to arrange it, I finally came up with an design I love.

To design/style your vanity table,

Here’s what you’ll need.

 A vanity table/set or a nice sized table with a table cloth ( I prefer white)

I store some jewelry in the drawer since I have more jewelry than I do makeup.

Since I had the attached mirror removed, I intend to add a wall mirror. IKEA has some good pieces that won’t break the bank. To beautify my vanity, I added a candle, vanity mirror, lotion, perfume, lipsticks, nail polish on a beautiful glass tray my mother gave me. By adding a delicate tray, it serves as a good divider in placements of items you’ll be adding to your vanity. Try thrift stores for unique trays. ( add pieces that you use on a daily or regular basis for easy access)

..I added a cute DIY painting, magazines, books, pretty heels, sunnies, and of course fresh flowers.

As you can see, my vanity table is practical and a bit impractical, and I prefer it that way. I have my everyday essentials, like lipsticks, perfume, lotion, and sunnies. I also have books, magazines, and shoes for an added dose of pretty!

So let’s recap.

You’ll need a Vanity Table or substitute, cloth to cover said table if you should want to cover it.

A tray to set your perfumes, makeup/brushes, your heart desires, and such.  Get creative! Remember, let your vanity table reflect who you are and what you love!  Hope you’ve found this helpful!
