Eat your way to a healthier skin

Lately, I’ve been breaking out a lot more than I would like. So, I took it upon myself  a long time ago to do some research on foods that are good for the skin, turns out I already eat a lot of these!
Sweet Potatoes– Not only are these potatoes delicious and looks good, they are rich in beta carotene. Beta carotene is antioxidants that defend against sun damage on the skin.
Kiwi-is one of the fruits very high in vitamin C. Vitamin C helps maintain the elasticity in the skin which keeps the skin firm.
Blueberries– high in antioxidants, blueberries help prevent premature aging. Add to your oatmeal for an extra kick of flavor.
Walnut– packed with Vitamin B and E; high in fiber and rich in Omega3 fats; eating walnuts help prevent inflammatory skin diseases like eczema and psoriasis
Tomatoes– rich in beta carotene and full of antioxidants, tomatoes help the body retain moisture and fight anti aging.
Salmon– is really rich in Omega3 fats, which are the kinds of fat you want in your diet. Not only are they good for the skin and enriching your diet with iron, salmon also decrease pores.

What are some foods you like that you’ve found have been helpful to your skin??

Oooh, thank you so, so much for these extremely helpful tips! I kind of have an awful sweet tooth, so I eat a lot more junk than I should, but I love reading about the types of foods that are not only beneficial for health, but for beauty as well. 🙂
