Vision Board

Ok, so I’ve been making vision boards since I was a kid in Liberia. I remember in middle school, flipping through magazines with my friends and saying  “this is me, or I want that when I grow up” Now that Vision boards are basically everywhere, I’ve been inspired to make an actual board.

Consider the overall purpose of your vision board. What would you like to accomplish the most? I have a 30X30 list of things I want to do before I’m 30 and a vision board is similar to that except with photos that visualizes my goal. When you make a list of things you’d like to accomplish, your ideas sorta come to life with the vision board.  Be sure to choose photos that inspire you. Think outside the box, choose photos that represents what you want to accomplish even if they aren’t pretty in a conventional way.

Affirmation- I’m a BIG believer in positive affirmations. My vision boards must have affirmations, inspirational words that keep me motivated.

My goal is to own a private practice after gainful experience of-course. I love this photo because it pokes fun at therapists. It’s a lot more than that. Trust.

Let your vision boards be a reflection of what you idealize your future to be.
