I’ve been on a facial skin care kick for a few years now, like I’m obsessed with taking better care of my face as I’ve gotten older. Surprisingly, I’ve been buying more makeup as of late, too. I recently picked up this Lancome Foundation, this one by NARS that everyone is raving about, I picked my old favorite from Clinique as my old bottle was running out and I kinnnda broke down and bought the Fenty Foundation. Lots of foundations, right? I don’t wear makeup often but I figured it doesn’t hurt to have some really good foundations in my arsenal. The shelf life on these are pretty good so, I know they’ll last a while. I don’t have to rush to wear them.
Anyway, enough talk about Foundations. Today, I’m partnering Sephora inside JCPenny, where I picked up this beautiful limited edition Tarte Treasure Box Collector’s Set. While, I don’t wear eye makeup much, I love Tarte; the blush, highlight and contour colors in this palette sold me, and it’s new and exclusive to Sephora inside JCPenney. You get so much for just 59 dollars. And the packaging is so cute.
If you frequent my blog, or know me personally, you know I’m more on the subtle, natural side when it comes to makeup, but today I’m going to step out of my comfort zone and build a glam look with this Tarte I picked up at Sephora in JCPenney. Guys, I love that Sephora is in JC Penney now. Whether you need to restock on your favorite mascara or buy everything you don’t need, it’s nice to not always have make a trip to the mall to find a sephora.
Alright so let’s get into this Holiday inspired look. Let know what you think.
I used the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundation for this look with my beauty blender. My shade is 370 for reference.
Benefit Cosmetics’ They’re Real! Mascara is one of my all time favorite Mascaras. I got the full size tube and mini tube. I just love how well it separates and fans my lashes.
Jewel tones are perfect for fall/winter and the holidays. If you want to glam up your makeup try a jewel toned shadow. For this look, I used the 4th shadow on the first row on my outer lid and the 3rd shadow on the third row on my inner lid. To add some drama, I lined my lower lids with the same color as my outer lid.
