Two weeks ago, I attended a women’s conference and got to hear some really amazing speakers like Claire of Fashion Bomb Daily, and Sahra Vang Nguyen to name a few. Finding your purpose is a conversation I frequently have with friends, and attending this conference left me feeling inspired, and determined to pursue my purpose + passion.

What’s your passion, Jewel, you might be wondering. Or maybe you’re not. Well, I have a heart for people and my passion is really working with people to help foster positivity and hope in any capacity. My social work job is great, and I also love that I can help people gain autonomy in their lives, and I also love that I have the opportunity to connect with people on my social channels and hopefully inspire people by living and doing what I love. I’m passionate about the creative range I have with my blog and the ability to connect with people who share similar interests as me. Long story short, attending this conference was a fuel to keep pursing my passion and purpose.

I can’t end this post without taking about my outfit, which received lots of compliments, it was borderline uncomfortable. This H&M skirt I picked up in Paris in 2014 is one of my favorites, although I’ve ever only worn it twice. I enjoy a good color blocking; the mustard and blue just flows.  I opted for my Pigalles to tone down my outfit, you know, in an effort to not do too much!

I opt for my red bottoms whenever I’m feeling myself, but let’s be honest, Louboutin’s, I don’t care what anyone say, is not super comfortable. These are NOT the type of shoes you wear for five hours straight, well unless you’re sitting majority of the time. My air-pufs insole arrived at the right time, because I knew I’d be walking around networking and a little padding to add comfort to my shoes was a necessity. I love the wide array of designs of insoles air-puf carries. I decided on the flamingoes because, well, they’re just so cute. They add the perfect padding, and cushion to my feet and still left room for my shoes to fit comfortably. Last thing you need is the insole to make your shoes extra tight.  The best part, they’re adhesive so you can wear them in other shoes as well. And, if you reverse them, you can wear them in flats. Cute, comfortable and functional, can’t say I don’t like it.

This post is in collaboration with Air-pufs. As always, all opinions are mine. Thanks for supporting all Style Optimist collaborations.
