I’ve been so enfulged in work the past month, and the AC Hotel by Marriot was just what my soul needed this past weekend. I feel so refreshed, you’d think I just got back from vacation. LOL AC Hotel hosted me and a few of my favorite girls for a staycation on Friday and it was pure bliss.
I arrived on Friday after work. Upon checking in, I headed to the bar, and ordered a drink. It was pretty virgin, but it was amazing!! I’m sure the alcoholic beverages are just as delicious!
I hit the gym to get a quick run on the treadmill, plus some strength training. I have this weird treadmill complex, and the treadmill there are probably the fanciest I’ve been on. It connects to Facebook, youtube and netflix, to keep you entertained through your run. They had fresh towels and bottled water to hydrate during your workout. Fancy, right? I wish my gym would take notes.
We had dinner at FireLake Grill at MOA. If you haven’t been there, GO!
We spent the rest of the night playing cards, snacking, and watching netflix. We were in a King Suite, with a HUGE TV in the living area and a HUGE king size bed with a TV in the room as well. Although, we didn’t watch TV but it was a very nice touch. The couch made for a GREAT sofa bed. I slept through out the night and not once did I wake up. The breakfast buffet was amaze! The quiches, cheeses, croissants, pastries were definitely one of the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a while. If you stay at this hotel, and skip breakfast, you don’t love yourself. The breakfast buffet is more than worth the 15 dollar price tag.
