My Curl, My Cantu

I’m excited to be participating in the My Curl, My Cantu campaign! I use Cantu products for a numerous reasons, the first being that they are affordable and accessible. Second, they’re super moisturizing and if you don’t know by now, natural hair needs a LOT of moisture and Cantu products provide uber moisture. The Cantu Coconut Curling Cream is my FAVE. I love that brands such as Cantu are birthing campaigns that encourages curly girls to love their hair and embrace their curl pattern. In my last post with Cantu last year, I shared that all hair is good hair; it doesn’t matter what type your hair is, if your hair is healthy, you’re winning! Am I right, or am I right?

I started my hair routine with the Complete Conditioning Co-Wash. I love how it made my hair feel, but to be honest I’m still new to the idea of co-washing. The Co-Wash is made without mineral oil, sulfate, parabens, silicones, phthalates, gluten, paraffin or propylene and only has the good stuff like natural butters and oils, ingridients that won’t dry or strip your hair out of the moisture.

After co-washing my hair, I applied a generous amount ofCantu  Leave-in Conditioning Repair Cream to my hair followed by coconut oil to lock that moisture into my hair.

Following the LOC method (Leave in, Oil, Cream) I applied the Cantu Coconut Curling Cream mixed with the Cantu Twist & Lock Gel using the raking method. While they both work well individually, the two products pair well together because you get the moisture from the Coconut Curling Cream and The Twist & Lock gel adds extra definition and slight hold.

The Cantu Calm Coil Detangler is great to use as a detangler before you add leave-in and also to refresh your hair in the morning as you fluff your hair. It’s also good to use before you wash your hair.

I’m a wash and go girl through and through. If you follow my blog, Instagram or Youtube you probably already knew that. I added two twists in the front of my hair to change things up a bit.
