I’ve been obsessed with natural hair ever since I cut my hair last year, which coincidentally works out for my friends because I love to talk, and do natural hair texture. Let me say that I’m by no means a professional colorist, but with the Vivid shades, all you need to do is know how to read and follow directions. It’s really easy.  You want to bleach the hair first, then follow up with the color.  If you’ve ever bleached your hair before, then you know bleach strips the oils and moisture from your hair; which means Deep Conditioning is a MUST. I was a bit skeptical regarding the texture of the hair after the bleach, but the deep conditioner replenished the moisture which was great because there’s nothing worse than harsh texture. 

I love the light cognac color on my friend so much that I’m almost tempted to color my hair as well. Out of all the six colors, I think the cognac would look nice on me, and maybe even Medium Cherry Brown or Light Copper Brown. With my one year natural hair anniversary coming up, I’ve been itching for a slight change, so who knows.
