I got to meet Krystal in Person. Her sweatshirt was awesome.
Taking a photo with Eva Chen was probably the highlight of day one.
I didn’t take a lot of photos during FABB, as I was consumed with the process and content as well. Let me give you guys an overview, for those of you who have not yet attended FABB.
Day one took place in an auditorium style setting and day two, classroom like setting, where Fabb attendees such as myself attended series such as learning how to monetize your blog, going pro as a blogger, and learning beauty tips and tricks from a celebrity make up artist.
During the course of Day One, We had the opportunity to hear from Eva Mendes as well as Kate Bosworth who both have clothing lines that are newly released or soon to be released. Kate wore pieces from her collection with Top Shop and Eva wore pieces from her collection with New York and Company. During her interview, Eva   proceeded to show us how she likes to wear scarfs on her head and borrowed an attendees scarf for demonstration. She was hilarious. When Eva Chen asked her if she was more of desktop or laptop gal she replied “tanktop”, so off topic and unexpected, so funny. I’ve always been a fan of Eva, so getting to listen to her speak in person was a real highlight.
I’ll give you guys a brief synapses of quotes and sayings that stood out to me.

Gabi from GabiFresh stated that she knows the kind of content that will get her the most traffic; however, she will post things she likes, not just what she thinks will give her more comments or likes. I think the lesson here is to stay true to your voice and create content you love rather than what drives traffic.
BryanBoy talked briefly about how it’s good to stick to your brand and not succumb to freebies or payments offered by media/ brand companies. For example: Gothic/punk theme is not style/taste, so for me to accept a partnership to promote such products would be me not sticking to my brand or image. Capiche?
In similar terms: Lindsay Calla of Saucie Glossie,  said “don’t date every boy on the block, wait for them to come to you” in terms of being selective with the brands you collaborate with.
Just a few tidbits from day one. I’ll summarize day two tomorrow here on the blog!
